Two highlights of our tour were:
Ella – Ishar guided us through the stunning hill country, including visits to the Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. His local knowledge and timing helped us avoid crowds and enjoy the scenery at its best.
Udawalawe National Park – Ishar arranged a seamless and memorable day trip to see the elephants. Everything was perfectly organised, and the kids were thrilled to see these majestic animals up close.
Beyond the itinerary, Ishar shared fascinating insights into Sri Lankan culture, history, and nature. He was always punctual, flexible with our plans, and genuinely cared about making our experience special.

February 24, 2025 at 3:44 amWe thoroughly enjoyed our time with Ishar during our travels around Sri Lanka. Over 8 days, in February 2025, we travelled from Colombo to Galle via Dambulla, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella and Haputale. Ishar was punctual, reliable, personable and interesting, with a very good command of spoken English. There were some long journeys in the car, but the time passed quickly and pleasurably, with engaging conversation.
A keen photographer, Ishar pointed out local places of interest, birds and plants. The people carrier was clean, comfortable and air conditioned , with plenty of room for our luggage. Ishar was a safe, confident driver, and we felt totally relaxed on our journey. We would highly recommend Ishar and would definitely use him again.
